About 4 years ago I had my gall bladder removed laproscopically. At that time I had 4 doctors and they were also checking for adhesions from a prior hysterectomy and years of endometriosis. Everything went better than expected and there were a few adhesions and the endometriosis was not back. In 90-05% of patients having a hysterectomy, they do not get the endometriosis back, so your chances are very good that they will mainly just be dealing with the gall bladder laproscopically. It is much easier than full blown surgery and requires much less time to recover. I wish you the best and try not to worry too much. I am sure your doctors are capable of dealing with anything. They are just being conservative and telling you the worst case scenario as they are required to do. Keep focussed this week on everything else that needs to be done to keep your mind busy and that and prayers should help you get through the week. Feel free to email me if you want to talk more about endometriosis or any of this.
