Go to your dentist, and get fitted for an anti snore mouth appliance, such as "Impact Dental Appliance". It is placed in your mouth, to hold your lower jaw and tongue forward, so that when you sleep, your tongue does not fall back and close off your air way in your throat. I use the dental appliance along with a cpap machine, and have more energy, and fewer aches and pains. It might improve your condition and you may not require the jaw surgery.
