My 5 year old daughter was diagnosed with acute pancreatitis in February. She spent over a week in the hospital and we followed with a bland diet for a month. The doctors told us there was very little chance she would have any more problems. She had three episodes of vomiting in the two months following. In May it happended again and I pushed for further test. Her enzyme counts were up and she had a mild case of pancreatitis. The doctors tell me I shouldn't be concerned and should wait before I send her for further testing. I don't want to put her through painful tests but I am concerned there may be something seriously wrong that they are not catching. Any suggestions?
