Just read the letter in the 5/31 Healthlink on the referenced subject. Can I possibly get more information on this surgery. My close friend has just this week undergone the correction of an aneurysm on his aorta in the abdomen area. His surgery was somewhat longer than anticipated due to the Dr. finding a congenital defect in his kidney -- he has one large kidney instead of the normal (2). The kidney being in the way of surgery, had to be separated so the aneurysm could be corrected using the insertion of a tube to re-route the blood supply I presume Appreciate any additional information you can provide. Thanks.
