I also have apnea. I swear by the CPAP machine. I didn't think it would work for me and was very skeptical. What a change in my life! I've been using the machine for less than a month and my quality of life has improved so much, that I'm energetic enough at 42 to go back to college! Before the machine, I was so tired I was afraid to take a driving test... no joke. I would try the CPAP first. Unless the tonsilectomy is due to repeated tonsilitis... If its only for obstruction, try CPAP. Its non invasive and its an immediate cure. Good luck!
