no your immune system will not eliminate this from your system. HPV is a virus and there is no way to get rid of it. the only thing that you can do is get treatment for leasions if you have any. i was recently diagnosed with this and i asked several questions and one of them was will it go away. if you have any questions ask your heath care provider and they will be able to help you. there is also web sites on STD's which will give you a help line number. if you have any other questions feel free to email me. hope i helped.
