My 31 year old daughter,single mother of 2,has Hep-c. She as put on treatment for eight months with no remission. She has now been told that the geno type of Hep-C is non responding and that there is nothing else to do. Just wait to die I guess. I am in total shock as I had so much hope of her going on a new treatment with less side effects then last time. She was recently fired from her job because she had to miss work do to her illness. She is also has chronic anemia and has no energy. Last December she had to have cholecystestomy. Two days later it ruptured and she had to be rushed to surgery for emergency surgery. Just last week it ruptured again and had to surgery again. If there is anyone out there who is going through this or if a parent has been told as I have that my baby will probably die before myself, I would like to talk to you. I am just devastated at the thought and I too am a chronic anemic and curently seeing a hemotologist for iron infusion. Plus I have diabetes which is currently under controll with diet. I really need some kind of support group to face this. Hope to hear from anyone. Thanks, June
