Due to M.D.'s telling me that there is "nothing I can do" to improve my current health state, I recently started turning to alternative medicine and have experienced significant improvements in my health. (I am a chemistry Ph.D. student so I tend to take a very critical view towards health recommendations and initially was quite skeptical. But, having seen success, I am becoming significantly less so.)Look into MSM (a supplement)that you can buy in the local grocery store's vitamin aisle. TRY TO PROTECT YOUR BODY FROM STRESS THROUGH SPECIFIC VITAMINS. I have been discovering that stress is one of the origins of a lot of these conditions that allopathic (M.D.) medicine can't fix. The next question a person like me asks is what is stress doing to the body on a biochemical level? What I found out is that stress creates tremendous vitamin deficiencies -- some of the big ones are: Zinc (needed for most parts of your body to function properly), B vitamins (protects your nervous system; nutritionists recommend a vitamin B50 tablet) Magnesium(helps the B vitamins and relieves muscular spasms and twitching). Vitamin C (maintains tissue health). You can be taking multivitamins and still end up with vitamin deficiencies if you are under a lot of stress. (Viral infections are also a form of stress.) I would probably either look for a stress multivitamin online that doesn't contain copper or take the vitamins individually. People can fix otherwise non-treatable health problems. Since I went on this dietary regime, my health and mental clarity have signficantly improved. The chemical idea is that large swings in insulin in your blood stream (a result of too much sugar too quickly entering your bloodstream) can ultimately trigger these diseases. I hope you can find some relief. Things can always get better -- don't give up hope.
