Betty, I too am pregnant and had an abnormal pap, this is my 8th baby, 9th pregnancy and have never had an abnormal pap before. I went in for the results of my colposcopy expecting nothing bad and it came back carcinoma in situ. Which I have read up on and it is bad, but, not cancer. Cancer cells are present though. They want to do a cone biopsy, but, it could cause me to go into preterm labor and lose this baby. I am 22 weeks along. They said if I am done having children they could just do a hysterectomy at birth. I am doing better.........trusting in the Lord. And I have decided not to seek treatment at this time. It is to risky to the baby and if this is my last one........I don't want to lose him. I hope your results are better than mine and I hope to hear back from you.
