Roger Molzahn
To anyone who may be of help: On Good Friday (April 13, 2001) my son was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer that has already spread to his liver. (Stage IV). Today (May 8, 2001) he had a Feliac Plexus Block to help stop some of his pain. His AST is 150, five times above what it should be and his billy reuben is 5.5 which should be .5 as I understand it. He has had one treatment of Gemsitibine chemo on May 3, 2001. His doctor has said they could start him on Rubitecan if his AST and billy reuben drops with the chemo. How much of a drop I don’t know. My question is there anything further that can be done at this point that might at least give him a fighting chance with this disease? Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Please contact me. Thank you so much, his Dad, Roger Molzahn.
