I am the mother of a 5 year old achromat. I have done some research on the subject but I have not been able to find any site where any research facility is doing any work to further learn about this disorder. I know this condition is rare but in our town I know know of 8 childern (only 2 are siblings) who have this disorder and I have spoken to parents of 3 other childern in nearby counties. With all the sites on the internet is it not time to have more research done. I would love to start a foundation in my area and raise money to fund this project. Does any one know of any reseach being done on Achromatopsia? Maybe others like me would be interested in doing the same? Sincerely Marianne Hemer
