This is for those people who also live where your doc's are too busy and overwhelmed w/ people too really take the time nessassary to evaluate their patients. My daughter was very sick,almost every day for three weeks. Her symptoms were chronic fatigue,nausia,severe pain from head to toe(muscle ache,tenderness to the touch), when I took her in he said she had a bad cold and sinus infection. He gave her the approipriate meds for that and sent us home.A week &1/2 Later she was not any better in fact she was worse. My daughter has a fear of doc. and hospitals so getting her to go was like pulling teeth. I made her go again.This time they took blood. The doc said her thyroid was messed up and gave her meds for that, well she was still worse a week later so I took her in again ,this time it was to see his associate,she took blood again cuz she said she looked like she had mono, They said they tested for it the last time,w/ the mono spot test. This time they did the epsteen bar test. Sure enough she had it. The associate gave her steroids and antibiotics to take.they said it would be another 6 weeks before she would be completely back to her ol' self. We have to be more curagious when go to our doc. Make them take the time they have to to diagnose correctly. She suffered alot longer then she needed to. She is better now. I also wanted to put this on here so if your child has the symptoms mine did mayby you would recognise them and go to your doc and tell them what to check for, instead of them hmhawin around as long as they did w/ my child. Ask then to do an epsteen bar check not a mono spot because the doctor told me it wasn't always right why have something that doesn't work. They still charge you for it though!So if your going to get charged you might as well get it done right the first time.
