I have had cellulitis for 2 years. Have been to ER, one general practicioner, a diabetes specialist, and 2 dermatologists and have taken two antibiotics and tried inumerable creams and nothing is working. I'm 68 years old with Diabetes. I work full time and by the end of the day I'm in severe pain. Feel like I have "boots" on and if I unzipped them all the "guts" would come rushing out! Also each time I exhale a sensation such as "electrical shock" comes out pours in lower leg to my ankle. Mentally it is really getting to me because it seems as if no one really cares! Last year because it "itched" so, I had open sores from scratching. Dermatologist did heal sores with a cream. Any advice, other solutions?
