I have had shingles twice on the trunck of my body. The things that helped me most were predinosone, hydrocodone and I have been told that the Lidacane patch is very effective for continuing pain. There is also some type of injection they can put into the spin that will help the pain. Goood luck. I know it is NO FUN!!
