My husband has sleep apnea. He didn't want to sleep with the cpap so he had the UVP3 surgery. It did not work so he must sleep with the machine. It is often annoying to both of us. Depression is also a factor with this problem. Try some different types of masks. Some are more comfortable. He often waits until he is asleep and starts to snore then I tell him to put on the mask. He goes right back to sleep. Make sure the doctor knows where your problem is before you undergo any surgery. They now tell him it was really the back of his tongue that needed reduced not the uvula, etc. Also the surgery is extremely painful. Hope you soon get a good nights sleep. Lucy
