I have three sores that started out as what seemed to me (at the time) were bug bites. Two are located right above one ankle and the other above the other ankle. I do a lot of gardening, so it was just natural for me to assume they were bug bites to begin with. Its been about a week now, and the bites look more like sores that won't heal. Not only that, but there are 'raised threads' that are beginning to extend from each sore that's yellowish in color. Is this ringworm? I know there are a lot of different types, but I'm not sure if this is. I've got some foot fungus cream that's also good for ringworm, and I started using it today. It itches like CRAZY though. When can I expect this to go away? I'm pretty sure I caught it early enough, but still, this is my first experience with ringworm -- if it is -- and I'm not really sure what to expect.
