Using a device my diabetic father has to monitor blood pressure (and following rigourously all the instructions), I tested twice for low blood pressure of approx 76/57, with a pulse of 90. I am 40, 5'2", 140lbs, do not exercise and lead a very sedentary life. My main activity is doing nothing as I do get tired. I sometimes (couple of times a year) have dizzy spells when I stand up, or if I do more than 30 seconds vigorous exercise. I have also experienced on a couple of occasions a fast spinning, arc "kaleidoscope" at the perimeter of my vision - somebody told me that was high blood pressure which is why I tested yesterday when I had seen the kaleidoscope the night before. My working life is stressful as I have to work away in the week, staying in B&B, with a 200 miles journey each way. On looking at this web site it seems most people who are worried have much higher blood pressure than me. How worried should I be?
