Trini
Hi, I just read your post. I have had Laser surgery, and two LEEP procedures to remove abnormal cells from my cervix. The last LEEP procedure (1/2001) revealed invasive cancer. I had a coning procedure done in March. There was no cancer found in the margins yet the doctors fear it could have spread. As of yet there is no sign of cancer spread. I understand your fear. The LEEP procedure can be an excellent diognostic tool and the cervix does grow back. I had a baby 14 months after my first LEEP procedure. Early diagnosis is key to beating cancer. Cervical cancer is one of the most treatable and beatable cancers when diagnosed early. Sincerely, Trini
