Hi! I was diagnosed last year as having Churg Strauss Syndrome after approximately a year of having major sinus & asthma problems as well as other shorter term problems. After leaving the hospital, I was basically symptom free,but as prednisone levels were lowered symptoms began returning. After returning to the hospital again, prednisone levels are back up and symptoms are much better, but not completely gone. What I am wondering is what doses of prednisone are others on and for how long. How much are the doses lowered each time? Has anyone ever gone into a total remission with no symptoms? If so, how did you manage that? If anyone has any other info they'd like to share, I'd love to hear it.
