My 18 year old daughter is being treated for Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, Depression and Anxiety. Prozac and Buspar have helped make definite improvements. Until the last two years, she had great attention span. Now she is diagnosed as also having ADD ( not ADHD ). Dexedrine leaves her very depressed. Riddlin gives her severe headaches and depression. Provigil shows very little improvement and leaves her feeling like she has acid reflux. Any recommendations? She also has one specific problem I have watched develop and continue to degrade her thought process consistently over the last two years that I would like your opinions on: when doing an activity, like writing a homework assignment, she can comprehend and analyze what she reads but can not get her thoughts to paper without taking hours to write down what use to only take her ten minutes. She can't understand why and is becoming more and more frustrated. She can see it yet can not stop it! Her doctor thinks it is the OCD. But, even though I see her medications making headway with her typical OCD symptoms, this condition continues to get worse. Anyone with knowledge that will help, please share it. Thanks.
