I am 28 years old an I was diagnosed with Carpal Tunnel about 8 months ago. Now I have been diagnosed with TOS about five months ago. The symptoms I have are pain in the arm from the fingers all the way to my neck on the left side. I can't do anything hardly with my left arm it is so weak I can't even hold up a newspaper to read it my arm gets weak and my neck hurts. My arm and hand goes numb alot especially at night. My left hand goes white when I hold my arm above my head and the pulse fades away. One more symptom I have is a mass (swollen area) above my collar bone on the left side also that has been there since I was diagnosed. Does anyone else have this mass and what are the symptoms you have? Also I have hard time breathing and chest pains when I do any kind of exertion and when I lay down to sleep at night. I go to the hospital in a couple of days for CT scan, Stess test with Cardiolite, Cholosterol test and an echocardiography. Has anyone had these for a TOS diagnoses? Please let me know your symptoms and tests that you have been through. I am concerned about this I have two small boys that are very athletic I don't want to miss out on helping them pracitce. I love sports. Please help, Donna
