I am 54. Rosacea came on me slow aprox. two years. But in the advanced stage it sounds exactly like your problem. It seem strange your doctor could not tell you my doctor looked at me and said Rosacea. It will spread to other parts of your face if untreated.I was afraid because I thought it was skin cancer or worse. So when I finally went to the Doc, He gave me Metro-Gel apply twice daily and all gone. Rosacea in in your genes and there is no cure yet. My face was in a hamburg state when I used Metro-Gel it took about 1/16th of an inch of skin off my face. But it finally clears up and you don't have to walk around looking like you have AIDS or worse. I hope this helped.
