I have Synovial Osteochondromatosis which in itself is very painful.I am now 27 years old,last April I had surgury to remove 30 bone fragments from my right hip, which the Dr. did not know how much was in there until surgery,I am in constant everyday pain from this.I have had 9 MRI's I have had cortizone shots in the Bursea 6 times now and also in the hip joint itself.I also have trochateric bursitis,The next road is to get a hip replacement.I am now in a wheelchair and very limited use of hip.If anyone would have any info. please notify me. the Dr. says that they have really never seen this .Very rare and no one of my age.
