Besides being fat, I have type 2 diabetes, operated on for kidney stones, intermittent hypertensipn, edema, retina floaters, arthritic sholders. All of this manefested shortly after a killer flu in the winter of 99. I am looking for a diet that will work or maybe a theory that puts obesity as just another symptom of a larger metabolic illness rather than the prime cause.
