My son aged 13 years has been diagnosed as suffering from acute pancreatitis. Diagnosis is based on blood tests and CT scan. He was in hospital for nine days, for four days he was without any oral liquid or food intake, now he is on low fat diet. reason could not be diagnosed but it is not due to heridetary, alcohol or gall stones.
