My two year old grandson has had a rash that covers his entire body for a month now. His glands located at on the side of his neck closest to his shoulder is swollen also. It really feels like a cyst. The Doctor said he had strep but the test appear negative but he would treat it as if it was strep. He gave him an antibiotic and the rash on his face is peeling but the other parts of his body remain the same. Help, I do not think he is getting the proper treatment. Has anyone out there ever heard of this? He will be returning for a follow-up visit soon.
