My Mom was diagnosed with A.A last year in May. In July she had her spleen removed and made a great recovery until December this year. 6 weeks ago she had immunosuppressive therapy, ALG and cyclosporin. She has had no response to this what so ever. In the last 2 weeks she has had 2 platelet transfusions and 4 pints of blood. Her Dr. is saying he hasn,t ruled it out to be a failure yet, but things are not looking great and she is rapidly losing hope. Do we go the immunosuppressive therapy route again or do we go for the BMT? She is 67. Anyone out there who can help with any info I would really appreciate it. We live in Namibia. JILL
