I have several sebateous cysts on my scalp. One of them is getting bigger and I feel this one might need surgery. I have been told that this surgery can cause permanent hair loss in the region of excision. Is this the case? This cyst is approximately 8mm in diameter. What do you advise that is the best treatment for these growths and to minimise any unsitely hair loss? Should I make an appointment with a skin speciallist?
