Has anyone had a child that was born with pneumonia? My docter said that it is rare but does happen. My infant son was born two weeks early because he did not pass a non-stress test. When he was born we dicovered that he had pneumonia. I did not smoke, drink caffeine, or alcohol. I also did not take any drugs other than what was described by my o.b. She told me that it was not my fault, but I can not help but wonder. I am also concerned about long term effects it may have on his lungs. If anyone has had this happen to their child, I would be grateful if you could respond
