I am glad i found this message board! I have been diagnoised with Rosacea now for about ten years and i too have tried the Metro gel and pills but it didn't help me all that much. I have very sensitive skin and i try to hide my Rosacea with make-up which i believe drys my skin up even more! Just using a napkin to wipe my mouth when eating dries my skin around my mouth so much that it peels and looks dry.It is very embarrassing and i have been watching what triggers mine. Chemicals which are used where i work has a great impact on my Rosacea breaking out. I was out of work for 6 months or longer and i noticed a big differance in my skin during that time! I had no break outs! Well i know it is impossible (unless i won a lottery) to not work since we all have to so we can survive! I appreciate reading everyones messages and i can TOTALLY relate to them. I must admit i have not been well diciplined in my diet and lifestyle. It is so obvious that diet and lifestyle does affect mine! Some days i just give up and say what the heck if i have to omit everything its not worth it! But i know i must work at this and hearing that i am not alone makes me want to try even more! Take care all of you and i hope to get some feedback from anyone on what works well for them?
