My son also walks on his toes, as did I and our daughter. The difference is that he has increased muscle tone in his legs and can't control his toe walking. He was diagnosed with cerebral palsy when he was one. He wears tone reducing AFO's to help the tone and keep his feet nuetral. This helps him walk much better. Without the braces, he falls alot. He has also had some Botox injections in the past 3 or 4 years which have helped the tone tremendously. He has also had OT and PT since he was one. I would check into this if I were you, especially with the Dyspraxia. I doubt that it is just a habit.
