Hi Ron, I was diagnosed with EBV last December. I was told I had a reinfection which is quite serious. I also had mono, a sluggish thyroid, a job, and a family to take care of, which includes two teen-age sons, my 89 yr. old mom, two big dogs and 4 (down to 2 now), cats. My major symptoms were pain, fatigue, & depression at being so diminished. Hiking and walking have always been a passion and a salvation for me but I really had to cut down. I used to do 4 or 5 miles a day, and more if hiking. I'm 50. Here are some vites and supplements which really helped me recently. A friend gave me some of Dr. Patrick Flannegan's mychrohydrin. Look him up on the internet. He was a child prodigy at 14; written up in Time mag. at 17. I also started taking Spirulina powder, and colostrum capsules, (only from other countries where they raise the cattle them properly). I feel so much better! For a while I was getting pretty despondent. I also take a good multi, B complex, ester C, and fish oil caps, and folic acid for the heart, lecithin for my cholestarol, (went from 263 to 168), and a few other things). It's pretty expensive and I get fed up with all the supps sometimes, but feeling better is worth it. I eat alot of fresh fruit and vegetables and whole grains. I'm taking another little part time job, as well as my other two, to help pay for the supplements. One of my jobs has been as a hypnotist for ten years. I had to stop for the past year. I also have a job helping older people out. A pretty full load. Your mind and spirit can really influence your health hugely. I think in a way I'm crowding the virus out with my busy schedule. The latest supplements, mychrohydrin, and spirulina & colostrum make a visible difference. Good luck! You're on the right track too! Flaminia
