Ladies, first of all let me say I was shocked to see that so many suffer from the same problem that I have and secondly, I am enraged because I feel that physicians are not doing all that they can to help solve this problem. We are made to feel like something is wrong with us or we're doing something wrong. My doctor keeps feeding me Metronidazole like candy and I am seriously concerned about the long term side affects. I am only 23 years old and being constantly treated for yeast infections or BV and I have yet to find out why this is happening to me. I am very concerned about this affecting my fertility because for the past 13 months I have been trying to conceive to no avail. Can anyone offer some insight?
