I have just been diagnosed with Chiari. The neurosurgeon says surgery isn't necessary. I have many of the symptoms which began to show up when I quit smoking 4 years ago. I am a 59 year old female and for each symptom, my primary doctor has put me on medication for various things. I now know that it is related to the Chiari. Any advice you can give will be appreciated.
