Hi cathi and cathie I suffered from Labyrinthitis for a total of 3 months,nov, dec & jan this year. My main symptom was extreme fatigue, appparently this is due to all the extra work youre brain has whilst relearning how to balance. This can take several weeks. I was advised by an ENT specialist not to take medication for the dizziness,unless it was severe as this hampers recovery. When you start to recover take it slowly, build up activities and work gradually. I was very lucky my boss let me work 20 hours then 24, then 30 then 36 hours per week. Be aware that illness or tiredness can trigger symptoms again.
