My mother is 58 years old.Last year we found she is a MVP patient.She has palpiattions which lasts for 1.5 hours.She is taking beta block medicine.Recently she has echocardiogram test where doctor found her leakage has increased from 4 to 5.4. Can any one tell me is it very serious.DO we need to replace the Valve. She has high blood pressure also.
