My mother has fibromyalgia too and I am trying to find info. I am very user unfriendly on the computer. First time on line. I found some info about causes, symptoms, and a little about treatment. I read a message about a man whose wife takes ultram. I took ultram when I had a terrible bout of sciatica and it was the only thing that helped relieve my pain. I told my mom to try it. Unfortunately she is so sensitive to all medications she can't take anything except Tylenol, which isn't helping. She is afraid to try anything else. Her dr. knows her history and so doesn't prescribe any meds, but I don't know if he's thought of ultram. Does anyone know if it's safe for highly sensitive people? Also, she is very sensitive to food. I haven't located any definate info about food. What foods trigger, what foods and diet can help. I hope to be "surfing" the net soon, but for now I'm wading in the kiddie pool. Thanks to anyone who has some answers. La Dell
