I've been suffering from this albotros for over six months now and have tried it all: 4 cortisone injections, walking cast (4 weeks now), night splint, electronic foot messager (had to stop - too painful), foot baths, every king of insole known to man and women to include magnetic, custom orthotics, medications - viox, celebrex, motrin, stretching and icing, electronic ionto and deep massage at PT - everything and I'm still miserable. Seems to me there should be doctors out there not sleeping in an attempt to nail down the cure for this thing - would become a quick multi-millionaire. My Podiatrist wants to cut end of month, but based on what I've been reading for over an hour, seems it may be futile. I'm an active Army officer and my superiors are getting tired of hearing me say I can't run. Went from a two-mile 12:15 last year to 16:00 last month - had to do it to stay current. Have tried spinning in lieu of running, but seems to aggrevate further. Other that two-mile run last month, been doing nothing (abstinance)for close to six months now. Think I've exhausted all options. Read today about Knox gelatin and wooden massagers? Any input? How about those of you who have had surgery - how's it coming? Can't take this anymore. I'm willing to listen to anything anyone has to say. Thanks!
