I was diagnosed with mild to moderate obstuctive sleep apnea. I had enlarged tonsils my family doc thinks was the culprite of my sleep apnea. I tried the cpap machine for a month the the ENT doctor and I decided to do the surgery for the sleep apnea along with removing my tonsils. It has been four weeks since my surgery and my husband says I no longer snore. I can tell that I am breathing through my nose more than my mouth, like I used to. It takes usually, at least where I live about 3 to 4 weeks to hear from your study. Before I had my surgery I noticed that I was having some depression like symptoms. I do not know if it was related to the sleep apnea or not. I do know I feel much better now.
