My 9 month old daughter was born with congenital scoliosis (fusion of the C1 & 2 and abmormal growth plates). She will have to undergo surgery to fuse segments together with pieces of bone from her rib. She will have to be in a full body cast for 4 months and frankly my husband and I are extremely worked up about this. Has anyone ever been through this or know anyone who might be able to give us some info on what to expect?
