I've just gone through 72 hours of diarreah, fever due to food poisioning..actually went to a hospital, here in nyc as a precaution. They said just wait it out, drink lost of clear fluids (water, soup (even gatorade), and if things didnt get better after 3 days, that I should come back, possibly for tests. Non-stop diarreah is now gone (1 day after hospital visit), fever is gone. But i have to be careful what i eat, suggested that i stay on soups, fluids, rice, bread..but i tried bread, and that went right through me. So might want to test small portions of differnt soft foods (e.g. apple sauce). Supposed to be several days before i'm able to take in solid foods.
