I have a 4 year old son. In October of 1999 he was diagnosed with mumps. He got over the mumps. Then he fell off the bed and the symptoms recurred. I was told by my son's doctor that it could be a problem with the saliva glands, and sent my son to an infectious disease doctor. She did some tests to check his white blood count level. The second test the white blood count was too high, so she sent me to an oncologist. The doctor told me he had cancer, so he arranged to have two biopsys. Cancer was ruled out. The swelling under his ears finally went away in July 2000, but now he has three balls in his neck. In all this time the doctors still can not determine what he has. If anyone has any idea what this might be. Please email me and let me know. Thank you in advance to anyone who responds.
