I am 29 yrs. old and am a teacher. I was exposed to Chicken Poxthrough a child in my class. I had a fever and was vomitting about a day or two before I found a couple of bumps. My doctor was not able to tell if I had a true case or not, and wanted to be careful, so she is treating me as if it is Chicken Pox. THe same thing happened when I was 7 years old. I was sent home from school because of 1 bump. My question is: Would it be a good idea to get the vaccination in case I haven't really had Chicken Pox?
