Hi, my son Josh has moderate to severe verbal dyspraxia. He just turned seven and has been in speech therapy since the age of three. His speech has improved greatly but still lags that of his peers. His fine motor skills are also affected and he receives occupational therapy once a week at school to improve his writing skills. School has been a tough road this year but he improves daily and is now starting to read and learning to add numbers!! Does your son have trouble with the bathroom--accidents? Josh still struggles with this daily. Doctors have told me this is a sensory integration problem (dyspraxia is too.)I would love to email and talk on this forum. Support from others with this same problem would be wonderful! Josh is a special little boy and I know God has great plans for him!
