I was bitten three days ago, quite severely. I also have been on augmentin and at first it did not respond. Were you bitten or scratched? I soaked my hand for ten minutes, every hour for two days. The swelling has subsided somewhat, but now I feel like I have the flu. Did you have this as a symptom? How much Augmentin are ou taking? My doctor suggested that if I did not respond to augmentin that I take intravenous antibiotics. I would definately suggest that if you are not yet better.
