About a month ago I noticed a small pink bump on the outside in my pubic hair. At first I thought it was an ingrown hair because I shave regulary. Well, it hasn't gone away and now I have 5 others just like it. I went to my ob/gyn & he said he didn't think it was warts but was in fact from me shaving but gave me gel to put on them just in case and told me it was no big deal. He did nothing to try and test to see if it was HPV. Can a pap or some other test point out that it is definately HPV? Also, my bumps are very tiny and smooth, not cauliflower like most warts are and I have none on the inside. Can I tell for certain if these are warts or something else? How many treatment weeks does it normally take for the warts to go away?
