my daughter Noel is 9 weeks old. she was born with problems,. she had inhaled maconium and she wasnt breathing. she also was born with a black tongue. now shes breathing on her own and they thought she was having seizures so they did some searching around and found brain damage on the severe side. and her tongue fell off be cuz it was dead. none of the dr's know what caused this. today i took her to a different dr and he thinks she might have microcephally.... this scares me very much be cuz 2 of my cousins have had babies with this and both have died by the age of 4 and 5. and both never grew, they looked like infants even as they got older. they want my daughter to see a genetic dr. to find out if the genes were involved. what can they do for babies with this? is there anything? be cuz of what happened with my cousins babies i think here outlook is grim. i'm so scared for her. can anyone give me any information., and what is craniosynostosis? thanks
