Hello SMH, My 11 1/2 year old daughter has just completed six weeks of medication intravenously. She was on timetin. There was very little change. The docs have recommened that we rebiopsy in a different area of her distal femur. Perhaps the area they first biopsied was not active enough to culture anything. The docs are not ruling anything out, not even osteosarcoma or ewings sarcoma (which they thought she had before doing the biopsy), but are now led to believe it is an infection of some sort based on the what the cells looked like under a microscope. I hope it's not cancer.
