I posted a message few days ago that asked whether genital herpes and syphilis could possbly be confused for one another when certain tests for each disease are taken. I have or have had all but a few of the more serious symptoms of syphilis (secondary stage), but I was diagnosed with genital herpes. I had sores in my genital area, but I wait tables and walk around a lot, so I was wondering if it was at all possible that I might have had irritated that area and caused those sores to open
