I've had two ectopic pregnancies. The emergency room could not diagnose it and sent me home with cramp medication. Finally when I was near death, a friend arranged for her doctor in Lenox Hill Hospital in N.Y.C. to see me, telling him that it was probably my second ectopic, which it was. I suggest, if you haven't already, to get yourself a gynecologist with a good reputation, because emergency room doctors are student doctors in training. The more they can save of your falopian tubes and ovaries, the better your chances for someday being able to get pregnant normally. Good luck!
